PENFIELD, N.Y. — There's a new DIY studio opening in Penfield that pairs woodworking and custom graphics.
Board and Brush is a wood sign workshop that hosts classes and private parties for personalized sign making — with more than 200 designs and 65 colors to choose from.
Owner Erica Lees is an Eastridge High School grad who wanted to own her own business that combined creativity and social time.
"For me, it was really important to create an environment where people had a place to come together to do something creative and fun with their friends and their family," Lees said. "It is fun to watch the process and see what everybody comes up with."
The grand opening is Sunday 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 900 Panorama Trail South Store 7. Workshops can be booked online.
