The annual Woodstock-New Paltz Arts and Crafts Fair kicked off Saturday, with unique handmade crafts from 200 different vendors.
Organizers expect a few thousand people will be coming through the fairgrounds to see all the craftwork and art.
"People feel like the only places they see art is a gallery or a museum. This venue has become access to hand-crafted work and quality work. There is work here that they are not going to see at big box stores," said Fair Co-Founder Scott Rubinstein.
The fair runs through tomorrow.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Harvey relief efforts.
