Two NFTA K-9 officers have been selected to be a part of a special security detail at Super Bowl LVIII in New Orleans.
Dok and Timmi, along with their handlers Officer Mario Capozzi and Officer Mike Bogulski, will join a nationwide task force of law enforcement at the big game in February.
“This is a tremendous honor for our team,” said NFTA K-9 Lieutenant Lauren Zani. “The Super Bowl represents one of the largest security operations in the country and our officers are ready to bring their unique skills to this event.”
Both officers have Super Bowl security experience. Previously, Officer Capozzi worked Super LV in Tampa Bay and Officer Bogulski served on details at both LIII in Atlanta and LVI in Los Angeles.
