BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- Hundreds of local musicians are set to perform on the porches of a number of properties in Binghamton.

Monday morning, organizers announced the details of the city's second annual Porchfest. In total, 91 bands and 337 musicians will perform on 26 porches on the city's Westside this Sunday.

Last year's inaugural Porchfest drew more than 1,500 people. The 7 hour event features bands from Binghamton and Ithaca, along with several others from across the state.

Coordinators say Porchfest is the perfect opportunity to showcase the area's talent.

"We've got a beautiful neighborhood over here that we so rarely get to share with everyone else and we've got some great musicians in Binghamton that we so rarely get to share with everyone else but there's a really, really great scene happening in Binghamton right now," said Binghamton Porchfest Coordinator Chris Bodnarczuk.

Binghamton Porchfest kicks off at 12 p.m. Sunday.
