TWC NEWS VIDEO: LAKEWOOD, N.Y. -- A new Honda dealership is coming to Lakewood.
Bill McFadden, who also owns Luv Toyota, says his company was picked by American Honda Motor Corporation to get a new Jamestown Honda dealership because of its outstanding performance.
The project includes a new $5 million full service facility located on Fairmount Avenue next to the Toyota dealership.
Company officials say it's expected to do around $30 million of business each year and will create about 30 new jobs.
"Those 30 employees will, of course, be spending the majority of their money in the Lakewood community, many of them will move into the community and, of course, we'll boost the tax dollars of Lakewood just simply with the construction of the building," said McFadden.
Company officials say they hope to begin construction before winter hits.
