Brooke Reilly joined Spectrum News 1 in June of 2022. She was born and raised in the Hudson Valley, so she is thrilled to return home and share stories with the community she grew up in.

Brooke graduated from Quinnipiac University with a bachelor of arts in journalism in May of 2020.

While at Quinnipiac, Brooke interned in four different newsrooms, including NBC News with the TODAY Show, FOX News Channel's LA Bureau, KTLA 5 News and FiOS1 News Hudson Valley. She was also a member of Quinnipiac's student-run TV station, Q30 Television. Throughout Brooke's four years with the station, she held several producing and leadership roles. She ultimately became news director her senior year. Brooke's work with Q30 was recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists and the College Media Association.

After graduating, Brooke quickly got her career started. She moved to Bangor, Maine, where she spent two years working at WVII/WFVX (ABC 7 & FOX 22) as a reporter and weekend anchor/producer. She covered a variety of stories there, including presidential visits, COVID-19, a major murder trial, many feature pieces and more.

Brooke is currently continuing her education through the University of Alabama's distance learning program where she is pursuing her master of arts in journalism and creative media. When she isn't out reporting or doing school work, you can find Brooke spending time with family and friends, taking the train down to New York City, trying new restaurants, or catching a country concert or Broadway show.

You can contact Brooke via email at Brooke.Reilly@charter.com and connect with her on Facebook and Twitter. If you see Brooke out and about, be sure to say hello!
