WORCESTER, Mass. - Milford native Chris Colabello played 1B and outfield for the Twins and Blue Jays in the MLB, he was also a star for the Worcester Tornadoes, where one season he made the move from 1st base to 3rd to help the team so who better to talk about the challenges that Raphael Devers would face making the move from 3rd to 1st with the Red Sox. "I've had these conversations a lot with people both with the Red Sox and one the periffery," said Colabello, "making a transition at any point in your career it essentially is taking awas comfort, the comfort and freedom you have to not have to think or stress or worry about things that aren't second nature right. The biggest challlenge with playing 1st base is the footwork required around the bag right, there's always this sense of fear that you're not going to get to the bag in time to set your body up properly. Guys that don't play first their feet aren't in the right position so they compromise themselves so that's the biggest challlenge of playing first."
