CLEVELAND — It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s Superman at Progressive Field.

With the newest movie focused on the iconic hero set to be release this year, the Guardians are hosting a DC Superman Night following the movie’s release.

On July 23, fans can show off pride for the comic character with a Metropolis Meteors t-shirt giveaway for the first 15,000 fans. Those who purchase a special theme night ticket will also get a limited-edition Superman bobblehead.

The themed game takes place on Wednesday, July 23.

Superman dominated Cleveland last year when certain scenes for the movie were filmed downtown, turning Superior Avenue into Concord Street in Metropolis, including the iconic Daily Planet where Lois Lane and Clark Kent work.

When a teaser trailer was dropped in December, many familiar Cleveland spots were caught by viewers.

James Gunn’s Superman will premiere on July 11.
