WISCONSIN — Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will visit Eau Claire, Wis. on Wednesday, Aug. 7 as part of several visits to battleground states, according to her campaign.

It comes just a couple weeks after Harris kicked off her campaign with a rally in Milwaukee. Her visit is also on the same day as Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance's planned visit to Eau Claire.

Harris is expected to speak around 1:20 p.m. in the Eau Claire Event District.

This will be Harris’ sixth visit to Wisconsin this year and her second as a candidate for president. Bon Iver is expected to perform at the rally, according to the Harris campaign.

Harris will also visit Philadelphia, Detroit, Raleigh, N.C., Savannah, Ga., Phoenix and Las Vegas.

Harris has quickly secured the support of enough Democratic delegates to become the party’s nominee.
