CHESTERFIELD, Mo. —An Eatwell Market by Schnucks that will sell organic foods and hold events is coming to Chesterfield. It is expected to open in Chesterfield Commons in the spring of 2023.

The 30,000-square-foot store will offer “foods with exceptional taste and uncompromising ingredients, while providing opportunities for customers to discover new items each time they shop,” a press release states.

Thousands of natural and organic items will be featured throughout the store, including organically-grown produce and conventionally-grown fruits and vegetables, according to the press release. The meat department will have products raised without added antibiotics or growth hormones.

“We are excited to introduce Eatwell Market by Schnucks to customers in our hometown area,” Schnucks Executive Vice President of Supermarkets Ted Schnuck said. “Our company’s mission is to nourish people’s lives, and we will build on that by bringing customers a store where they can discover new, local items while staying focused on health and wellness.”

The market also will have freshly ground nut butters, a made-to-order drink area that will serve smoothies, coffee, tea, beer and wine, as well as bulk foods such as nuts, seeds, dried fruit and grains, according to the press release.

“At Eatwell Market we will strive to offer customers the best tasting food made from the best ingredients,” Schnuck said. “We look forward to soon welcoming shoppers to this location where our goal will be to bring them a ‘beyond the expected’ shopping experience.”

Upon opening, the store will have both Schnucks Delivers and Curbside Pickup through Instacart.

Eatwell Market will employ 105 teammates and positions will be announced later this month. Those interested can apply on the Schnucks career page.

The Chesterfield location is the company’s 115th store and the second one to operate under the Eatwell Market banner, joining the Columbia, Missouri, location that opened in 2020, the press release states.
