RALEIGH, N.C. – A 6-year-old entrepreneur is giving back to kids her age.
Aja Nicole Midgett has been running her lemonade stand since May. She sells drinks, hot dogs, and treats drive-thru style on the weekends.
Her parents, Letrice and Terrell Midgett, say she earned $1,300 for the summer. Now, she is using $750 of it to donate 75 stuffed animals to kids who may be without.
"She just likes helping people," says Letrice Midgett. "She loves stuffed animals and she felt that kids would enjoy them as well."
Aja Nicole and her family personally stuffed each animal. Her mom says she is donating to kids through the Salvation Army and Lake Myra Elementary School.
