The Legoland Resort in Goshen now plans to have its grand opening next spring. It's a project that's drawn both praise and criticism in the community.

The outdoor theme park will include a hotel, which is expected to open separately from the park next year.

Legoland is set to be home to seven different themed sections with more than 50 rides and attractions.

Advocates, including Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus, have touted it’s potential as an economic driver. Critics have raised questions about the commotion that could be caused by increased traffic and tourism.
