All of this is a result of the city's 2040 Mobility Transit Plan.
To expand routes, the city is removing some stops and moving others. Officials believe this will help them serve more people as the city grows.
One of the biggest changes GTA is planning is transforming the overcrowded Route 12 into two separate routes serving South Elm-Eugene Street and Randleman Road respectively.
GTA is also planning to make each route more frequent to improve service throughout the week and add crosstown connectors. However, they are not there yet.
