One of the victims of this weekend's fatal crash in Rock Hill is being remembered as a warm and loving son with a promising future.

Justin Finkel, 14, and Devin Zeininger, 16, were hit and killed by a driver on the side of Glen Wilds Road just after 3 p.m. Sunday.

Finkel was identified Thursday as an eighth-grader at Hackett Middle School in Albany. Principal Michael Paolino said the crisis response team was on hand to support students and staff on Monday in the wake of the crash.

Finkel's mom says her son never failed to brighten up her days.

"He had a great personality. Always making me laugh. He was growing up, coming into just being a young adult,” said Bonnie Finkel.
