A hearing in an Ulster County Legislative Committee tonight is expected to see the County's Board of Election commissioners continuing on opposite sides of a potentially crucial issue.

Spectrum News told you last week about a disagreement between the BOE's Democratic and Republican commissioners. Their difference: where to put early voting locations.

Democrat Ashley Dittus wants to see more locations in towns or cities. Republican Thomas Turco would like to see more in rural areas.

The county has to send early voting times and locations to the state before May is out, in order to secure state election funding. If there's no agreement, the county could lose out on more than $200,000.

Monday night's meeting is set for 6:30 p.m.
