CONVERSE, Texas – Converse police early Thursday morning responded to a call concerning shots fired. 

When officers arrived in the area of 6th Street and Topperwein Road, they only located a single shell casing. There were no victims, property damage or anything to indicate a crime had taken place. 

Police said it's possible someone was walking and heard a shot fired into the air.
