A tractor trailer driver has been ticketed for hitting a New York State Police vehicle and another car on the Thruway on Wednesday.

Michael Audit, 54 of Napierville, Quebec, was ticketed for unsafely moving from a lane and violating the Move Over Law as a result of his truck striking a disabled car and the police car at approximately 3 p.m. Wednesday on I-87 northbound in Kingston. According to state police, Audit's truck clipped the police car as Trooper Thomas Hanigan was pulled over to help Alejandro Espinosa and Juana Herrera of Albany change a tire. The truck also hit the disabled car and a guide rail.
