A Saugerties man was charged with having child porn after his pediatric dentist’s office was raided.

According to New York State Police, 52-year-old Trevor H. Keller was charged with one count of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.

The arrest was made as a result of a two-week investigation.

Keller is a dentist in the area. A sign at his office read “due to circumstances beyond my control, I am permanently closing this dental office. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and heartache this obviously causes.”

A search warrant was executed on Wednesday at the office at 159 Jefferson Heights in Catskill.

Keller was arraigned before the Town of Catskill Court and remanded to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 secure bond.

Parents in Greene County reacted on Facebook Thursday after Keller's arrest. They said on multiple occasions, Keller would not allow them back in the exam room with their children during dental visits.

Spectrum News spoke with Anna Ryan, a mother who took her son, Sebastian to see Keller back in 2017. She says he was screaming for more than 30 minutes after the appointment, and to this day she doesn't know what went on. 

"I think the worst part of it all is, you know, we as parents should be able to trust these people. These are licsened professionals who specialize in pediactrics. I mean it was like a horrific nightmare it truly was," Ryan said.

Ryan goes on to say every time her son goes to the dentist, he gets horrible flashbacks to his time at Greene Pediactric Denistry.

The investigation is still ongoing.
