The Cornwall Central School District hosted a Parade of Champions Friday morning. The girls cross country team, and the boys football team, visited district schools in their community.

Students cheered for the players as they came in and left the school. Both teams won their first state championships, and the athletic director said this was a way to share some dragon pride. 

"This was such a big deal for our community that we really wanted to share it with the student population as well. And we look at is as a positive approach of bringing them into the championship and including them into the hoopla and celebrations," said Michael Kroemer, Cornwall Central School District athletic director.
