SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A longtime Onondaga County Court judge is wrapping up a successful 17 year career in Central New York.
Several colleagues of the Honorable Anthony Aloi joined him in his courtroom as he served his last day on bench Tuesday.
Aloi took time to thank his co-workers and some of his closest friends he has worked with for nearly two decades.
The judge says he loved working as a judge in Onondaga County and says it was a very emotional day for him.
Judge Aloi served as a lawyer before becoming a judge and says he plans spending much more time with his family.
