MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. -- All day Sunday community members can help celebrate the memory of a beloved teacher from Minisink Valley.
From 10am until 10pm, the Dairy Queen in Middletown is donating 25% of their food, cake and treat sales to the scholarship fund in Chris Corwin's name.
Christopher Corwin died in a car crash on his way to work in January. He was a technology teacher at Minisink Valley Middle School.
The scholarship was set up by Corwin's wife and is supported by the school who says Corwin went above and beyond his role as a teacher to help students and the community.
