A class-of-2019 West Point Cadet is dead, apparently from a skiing accident.
West Point Officials say Peter Zhu was found unresponsive last Saturday afternoon on a slope at Victor Constant Ski Area, which is on academy grounds.
Ski Patrol administered first-aid on scene, and brought him to Keller Army Community Hospital.
Zhu was then airlifted to Westchester, before he died.
It's still under investigation.
The commandant of the cadets says, in a statement, "The entire West Point community is heartbroken."
Zhu was president of the Cadet Medical Society and was about to start med school.
A private service for Zhu is happening next week.
