New York State Police are asking for help in an investigation into a shooting that happened Thursday night in Fishkill. 

Troopers say it happened around 5 p.m. at the Hudson View Park Apartments. They say they're trying to identify a man seen in the area around that time.

They ask anyone with information on the shooting to contact police.
