An Ulster County grand jury has indicted the man police say is responsible for a November murder in Kingston.

The Ulster County District Attorney's Office says Seth Lyons was indicted for murder Thursday. Authorities say Lyons killed Anthony Garro Jr. on November 29 in the city of Kingston. The DA's office says Garro's death was caused by blunt trauma to the head.

Kingston Police say Garro's body was found under the Elmendorf Street Bridge, and that Lyons killed him by hitting him several times.

Lyons was arrested a day after the body was found and at the time pleaded not guilty in city court. He is scheduled to be arraigned in county court on Friday.
