The Newburgh Armory Unity Center has some extra funding as it works on a safe return to its indoor activities.
Spectrum donated $3,000 in a ceremony this weekend to help the Unity Center pay for an air purifying system.
The center reopened recently, and Newburgh Mayor Torrance Harvey touched on the importance getting back to normal.
"To reopen our cities, not only in Newburgh but throughout the country, you know, businesses, small entrepreneurs, the families, the children, they want to get out of the homes and get back to the normal activities that they're accustomed to participate in, Harvey said. "And this is a great effort in that direction."
Spectrum and Spectrum News are both owned by Charter Communications.
