Another storm system bought more winter weather to New York State for the first weekend of March. While the colder areas farther north and across the higher terrain started received mainly snow from this system, other parts of the state saw a changeover to a wintry mix and rain on Saturday before the system exited the region.

The highest accumulations were reported across Eastern New York, where places like Bolton measured 16 inches of snow. The New York City Metro area saw the least amount of snow with just a trace in many places.

Regardless of the amount, the storm still created hazardous travel conditions throughout the region Friday night into Saturday.
