And since it’s been a mild February, most of the precipitation has fallen as rain. Syracuse has only accumulated 8.3 inches of snow so far this month!

So how does Syracuse stack up compared to last winter? Believe it or not, by this time last year, Syracuse only had 47.6 inches of snow. While that number is very low, we are nine inches below where we were last year.

From this vantage point, warmer than average temperatures will stick around for quite some time, with no big snow chances soon.
