Lake-effect snow will continue to make travel across the North Country nearly impossible on Christmas Day through Monday.

Winds will ease a bit on Christmas Day, but it will remain blustery, with snow continuing.

In terms of lake-effect snowfall amounts, upwards of 2 to 4 feet will be fair game by early Tuesday morning, especially within the heart of that band. That includes spots like Watertown and parts of the Tug Hill Plateau.

Outside of the lake-effect snow zone, a few light snow showers and flurries are possible across Central New York. Although conditions will stay quiet for the Southern Tier.

Daytime highs on Christmas Day will be in the 10s and 20s. Wind chill values won't be quite as fierce, but still frigid nonetheless, staying near zero most of the day.
