Tonight will will feature snow/wintry mix across the North Country and a wintry mix/rain from Central New York down through the Southern Tier.

Mixed precipitation will change back over to all snow on Friday with widespread accumulations possible to finish off the week. Friday will be blustery and colder with temperatures falling through the 20s during the afternoon.

Be prepared to encounter slick and slower than average travel conditions to finish the week.

The forecast calls for quieter, but frigid conditions on Saturday with temperatures for most spots stuck in the teens. Temperatures will moderate back into the 30s Sunday into early next week.
