Clouds will continue to increase tonight with rain and wet snow showers developing for some overnight. Lows will be in the 30s.
A new system is set to arrive Thursday which will initially allow for rain and snow to develop. This mix will then change to all snow Thursday afternoon with widespread accumulating snow in the forecast. Lower elevations could see a coating to an inch or two, with higher terrain picking up a few inches.
The coldest air of the season will settled in Friday with scattered lake effect flurries and snow showers possible. Highs will be in the 20s and low 30s.
Saturday will be chilly and quiet with highs in the 30s/near 40 degrees. After a brief warm up with highs in the 40s on Sunday, temperatures will turn much colder again heading into next week!
