In the wake of the cold front, gusty northwest winds will churn up some higher waves, resulting in the threat for Lake Ontario shoreline flooding and erosion Wednesday evening through Thursday evening.
Temperatures on Thursday will be notably cooler, only getting into the mid-70s for daytime highs.Outside of a lingering shower, we anticipate lots of dry weather as well.
Friday will be even cooler as most locations only reach the low-70s, with a few spots in the Southern Tier not even making it out of the 60s during the day.
This weekend's weather looks fantastic. Expect mostly sunny skies as temperatures rebound back up to near 80 by Sunday.
