New York's E-ZPass system is getting an update.

Beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday, you will not be able to view account information, make payments or call the tolls by mail number.

This is because the New York state Thruway Authority will be spending the next few days upgrading the E-ZPass website and the "tolls New York" mobile app.

The goal is to enhance user experience through a more modern platform.

Customers are encouraged to make payments before the Wednesday night's upgrade begins.

These services are expected to be down until April 15.
