Syracuse running back LeQuint Allen is declaring himself available for the 2025 NFL draft, foregoing his final year of eligibility.

Allen, who helped the Orange to a 10-3 record and a Holiday Bowl win over Washington State this season, made his intentions known Thursday afternoon on social media.

"This has been an incredible journey, and I couldn't have reached this point without the support of so many people," Allen's statement read in part.

Allen concluded his SU career with 120 yards rushing and two touchdowns on the ground, as well as a late TD catch, in the Orange's 52-35 Holiday Bowl win on Dec. 27. He rushed for 1,000 yards in consecutive seasons at Syracuse, finishing his three-year stint with 2,359 rushing yards — good for 13th on the all-time Syracuse list — and 26 touchdowns. No other SU running back caught more passes than Allen (119), and he's also atop the school record books in both career and single-season receiving yards for Orange running backs.
