Friday’s feature game was a battle of two of the bigger schools in Section III, and the C-NS Northstars showed more of the dominance we’ve come to expect.

The 3-time defending Class AA champions put together a complete game for the first time this season, taking a 7-0 lead into the second quarter and adding three touchdowns to pad the lead to 27-0 at halftime.

Jamar Ballard, Jr. scored two touchdowns, one on a 14-yard run and another on a 25-yard jaunt.

Sophomore QB Jaxon Razmovski threw a 72-yard scoring strike to Mason Ellis early in the second quarter and then ran one in on a 1-yard sneak to cap the first half scoring.

Farouk Ibrahim, Jr. scored a 2-yard touchdown in the third quarter to expand the C-NS lead to 33-0 before the Raiders finally got on the board on a two-yard scoring run from Sandor Lin in the fourth quarter.

With the win, C-NS improves to 2-1 on the season, while Proctor drops to 1-1.

Next week, the Northstars host the unbeaten Baldwinsville Bees (3-0) in what could be a preview of the 2021 Section III title game.
