SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: Coming into their meeting with Wake Forest, SU was favored to win by 7.5 points. Late in the second half, the probability of them even winning went down drastically. After taking a 38-30 lead into half, the game took a turn at the Dome on Saturday night.

First, Quincy Guerrier fouled out with 13 points in 15 minutes of play off the bench. Then, Bourama Sidibe fouled out, followed by Marek Dolezaj after a technical foul. With under six minutes to play, SU was missing two starters and trailing by four.

With a lineup of Buddy Boeheim, Joe Girard III, Elijah Hughes, Jesse Edwards and Brycen Goodine the Cuse clawed back to put themselves in a position to win in the final minute. After Wake tied it up off a ridiculous three by Ismael Massoud with 21 seconds left, it looked like the Orange would be heading to OT with a severely depleted lineup. Instead, Elijah Hughes put up a shot, and Brycen Goodine, the freshman collected the board and got the putback to take the game, 75-73.

Afterwards, Goodine said it was the first game-winner he's ever had. Erik Columbia was at the game and has more from the Dome.
