The Hudson Valley remains under a "high" wildfire danger rating.

This comes as a statewide burn ban is set to go into effect on Sunday.

So far this week, multiple fire departments have dealt with a wildfire that grew to 30 acres in the town of White Creek. That fire prompted a response from departments in several counties.

This all follows the Jennings Creek wildfire that scorched much of the region in the fall. That fire burned more than 5,300 acres along the New York-New Jersey border and claimed the life of a volunteer firefighter.
