A second teenager has died in connection with last week's crash in the town of Pompey.
New York State Police confirmed Gia Myers, 17, died as a result of the collision on State Route 91. Myers, of Jamesville, was the driver of the vehicle.
Her brother, 15-year-old Gavin Myers, a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene.
State police say Myers, driving a Hyundai Accent heading south, lost control on a snow-covered road and hit a Chevrolet Tahoe coming the other way.
The driver of the Tahoe was uninjured.
Both Myers siblings were students in the Fabius Pompey School District.
"We are a close-knit school community and our hearts are broken by this tragedy," Superintendent of Schools Lloyd Peck said initially after the crash.
