A familiar sight for people in the greater Syracuse area: Another truck has struck the Onondaga Lake Parkway bridge.

The vehicle was heading southbound around 8 p.m. Monday when it hit the bridge. DOT officials say they had the scene cleared just before midnight.

Onondaga County Sheriff's officials cited an international driver, a 25-year-old from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. The driver was cited with 18 traffic tickets for missing all the signs warning of the low bridge.

Sheriff's officials say there were no major injuries.
