The Oneida County Sheriff wants to remind anyone interested in becoming a deputy sheriff, that they have until July 29 to sign up for the civil service entrance exam.

Applicants must be at least 19 years old and have a high school diploma and be a resident of Oneida, Herkimer, Lewis, Madison, Oswego or Otsego counties.

The exam is scheduled for September 17.
