Utica Police have made an arrest in the Sunday night homicide of a Utica teenager.
Charisma Hunt, 23 of Utica, was charged with second-degree murder, Utica police said in a statement Tuesday morning.
The teenager, 17-year-old Jahzeir Jackson, was shot multiple times late last night.
Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of City Street shortly before midnight. Officers say upon their arrival, they found Jackson lying in the road suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
