The suspect in a Black Friday shooting at Destiny USA was arraigned Friday.

Kyree Truax, 21, was charged with criminal possession in the second degree and tampering with physical evidence. A grand jury did not find enough evidence to charge Truax with assault.

Officers responded to the shopping center shortly after 7 p.m. on November 29, where they found a 20-year-old man in the food court area with multiple gunshot wounds to the leg. Police Chief Kenton Buckner said Truax was involved in a traffic accident on Franklin Street and Herald Place following the shooting and was arrested.

Truax's bail remains at $1 million, which is partially secured; his next court date is February 14.
