A transport bus slid off Interstate 81 overnight and turned onto its side in Cortland County.
According to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office, authorities responded to Interstate 81 southbound near Exit 13 for the town of Preble for a crash involving a transport travel bus that was headed for New York City.
The Sheriff’s Office said the driver lost control of the vehicle on the snow-covered highway.
The vehicle went off the roadway and turned onto its side in the median.
No one was injured in the crash and only seven passengers were on the bus at the time.
The driver was ticketed for speed not reasonable and prudent for conditions.
