Francis Conole is jumping back in the ring.

The Iraq War veteran announced his intention Tuesday to run for a second time for New York's 24th Congressional District seat.

Canole lost in a primary for the Democratic line to Dana Balter for the chance to run against Republican Rep. John Katko in the 2020 election.

Earlier this summer, Retired Army Lt. Colonel Steven Hayes announced his intent to run for the seat on the Democrat ticket

Both men enter the race with the knowledge that the boundary lines in the district will probably be redrawn next year as part of the once-in-a-decade reapportionment of seats in the House.
