A half dozen state lawmakers on Wednesday endorsed Gov. Kathy Hochul's campaign for a full term next year as she draws support from members in her native western New York as well as Democrats from New York City. 

Hochul is running for a full, four-year term in 2022 and faces what could be an historically large Democratic primary next June. 

Endorsing Hochul: Assemblywoman Cathy Nolan of Queens, Peter Abbate of Brooklyn, Danny O'Donnell of Manhattan, Bill Conrand of Tonawanda, Monica Wallace of Lancaster and Karen McMahon of Williamsville. 

The endorsements come as New York City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams entered the race this week, joining state Attorney General Letitia James. 

“I am extremely proud to earn the endorsements of these six members of the Assembly,” Hochul said. “All of them hold an optimistic vision of our state, one where we continue to build a New York that grants opportunity to all and keeps our communities safe and healthy. I look forward to working with them as Governor to ensure that we continue to deliver results for their constituents and our State.”
