Democratic congressional candidate Mondaire Jones's first TV ad highlights his work in President Barack Obama's administration, his support for Medicare for All and an endorsement from Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

And the ad highlights Jones's own success story, having come from a low-income family.

"I remember being scared of getting sick because we couldn’t afford a doctor," Jones says in the 30-second spot. "I won’t stop until we make health care more affordable, and help everyone afford to live here. I’m Mondaire Jones and I approve this message."

In all, the TV ad seeks to have him stand out in a crowded Democratic primary on June 23 for the seat being vacated by Democratic Rep. Nita Lowey in the New York City suburbs.
