Spectrum News 1 is learning more details about the city of Syracuse's lawsuit against the Nob Hill apartment owners.

Officials alleged in their suit filed last week that the apartments within the complex have fallen into disrepair with inconsistent elevator service. The filing calls for the building to be brought up to code, and fix issues with the elevator and maintenance elements.

As of when the city filed, they say Nob Hill owes $340,000 in code violation fines.

The lawsuit, which was filed in state Supreme Court, demands that Nob Hill fix all violations within 30 days of when they were noted or be fined $100 for each day the code issues go unfixed.

The two sides are due in court on June 4.
