Visitation resumes this weekend at all corrections facilities across New York state. 

Visits are only returning for weekends and officials say they will follow normal weekend visitation rules.

However, the length of visits may be capped due to the amount of visitors that are expected. More information and updated security guidelines can be found on the DOCCS website.

Visitation was canceled last month at all facilities statewide amidst the correction officer strike, which saw thousands of prison guards across the state walk off the job as they demanded better work conditions.
