A Masonville man is charged with murder and attempted murder for allegedly stabbing his pregnant wife and two children, State Police said Thursday afternoon.
Drew Garnier, 32, was arrested following a police investigation into a reported domestic dispute at around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at a residence on Houck Road in Masonville, Delaware County, police said.
Police say Garnier stabbed his pregnant wife, Samantha Garnier, 29, who died from her wounds in Wilson Medical Center. The children were taken to Upstate Medical Center and are expected to survive, according to police.
Garnier is being held without bail in the Delaware County jail on a second-degree murder charge and two counts of attempted murder, police said.
