A state of emergency has been declared in Steuben County due to widespread flash flooding as the remnants of Debby hit the area.
Residents throughout the county are advised to avoid all unnecessary travel until further notice. There are multiple roads that are unpassable and emergency responders are handling dozens of calls at the present time.
The Town of Greenwood has also declared a local state of emergency prohibiting all traffic.
This state of emergency will remain in effect until further notice.
