Sullivan County law enforcement officers, Hope Alive 845 and family members are seeking information about a woman who vanished in 2017.
Tameka Harris, the sister of Shaniece Harris, sang about the missing 31-year-old at a press conference on Monday.
Shaniece Harris was last seen in Rock Hill on May 29, 2017, and she has not been heard from since. Her car was found two days later in the town of Thompson.
Officials said there have been many searches throughout the years, but there still aren’t any answers.
The family is still searching for any shred of hope.
“Put yourself in a parent's position who has to wake up every single day and not know where their child is, that she walked out, and she just disappeared. I really, truly need people's information. I need people to come forward. I need you to have the courage to come forward because you could be the key that unlocks this and helps me find my daughter and bring her home because that's what I want. I just want to bring my daughter back home where she belongs,” said Elvia Crump, Shaniece Harris’ mother.
The FBI is also offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads authorities to an arrest in the case.
Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI New York Office at (212) 384-1000, or Hope Alive 845’s 24-hour tip line.
